오는 가을학기에 ECE 40097 특론1 (Special Topic 1) 교과목을 아래와 같이
개설할 예정입니다:
– 주제: 소프트웨어 테스팅 (Software Testing)
– 강사: 홍신 교수 hongshin@handong.edu
– 수업시간: 화/금 오전 10시~오전 11:15 (2교시)
– 학점: 3학점
– 강의방식: 온라인-오프라인 병행, 영어 100% 수업
이번 특론 과목의 주제는 <소프트웨어 테스팅>입니다.
수업에서는 소프트웨어 테스팅에 대한 입문으로 출발하여 SW 테스팅 기술을
이해하는데 필요한 이론적 바탕과 실제 SW엔지니어링 현장에서 사용되고 있는
SW 자동 테스팅 기술의 활용 방법을 공부하고, 최신 SW 테스팅 연구를 소개할
예정입니다. 수업의 주제 주제는 다음과 같습니다:
– 소프트웨어 품질, 소프트웨어 엔지니어링 개요
– 다양한 소프트웨어 에러, 버그 사례의 이해
– 필수 기초인 Automata & Language theory, Computational logic 리뷰
– Unit testing practice
– 다양한 테스트 설계 기법(Input domain modeling, Structural testing)
– 테스팅 자동화, 테스트 생성 및 디버깅 기법
– Best Practice와 최신 연구 소개
강의에서는 소프트웨어 테스팅에 대한 내용은 물론, 소프트웨어 테스팅을
이해하는데 기본이 되는 이론의 핵심에 대해서 리뷰를 할 계획입니다.
또한, Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Testing & Verification 직군
진출에 도움이 되는 ISTQB, CTST 시험 관련 내용도 강의에 포함할 예정입니다.

ECE Special Topic 1 class will be offered in the Spring 2021 semester.
The class attributes are as follows:
* topic: Software Testing
* instructor: Shin Hong (CSEE, Handong Global University)
* class time: Tue/Fri 10:00–11:30 AM
* 100% English class, Online-Offline Parallel
This course aims to provide the theoretical and the practical basis to understand
software testing techniques to the students and introduce the recent topics in
automated software testing research. The classes will cover the following topics:
l Software Quality Assurance and Engineering
l Cases of Software Failures and Bugs
l A Short Review of Foundations: Automata and Language theory, Computational Logic
l Test Design Methods
l Test Automation, Test Generation and Debugging
l Best Practice and Research Topics in Software Engineering
The classes will investigate many topics relevant to ISTQB, CTST, and other certificates
for QA, QE, and Testing and Verification expertise.
