SW중심대 창업팀인 축지법팀(김경석, 김형진, 유현도, 박정훈, 심재인, 김가온, 지도교수 조성배)이 '감독과 코치가 없는 아마추어 축구인을 위한 웨어러블 디바이스 클러치(Wearable Device Clutch)'를 개발해 G-Star 대학생 창업경진대회에서 대상(중기부장관상)을 차지했다.
지도교수인 조성배 SW중심대학 창업교육위원장에 따르면 한동대는 현재 △Design Sprint Camp △창업 캡스톤 프로젝트 △Software Factory 창업 S-Lab △IT창업학회 벤처러스 △창업 자유학기 △창업경진대회 등을 통해 창업을 희망하는 학생들에게 전 주기적 교육 및 관리를 제공하고 있다. SW중심대학 선정 이후 한동대학교 창업팀들의 누적 상금 및 지원금은 16억원 가량으로 학생들은 우수한 성과를 내고 있다.

The Chukjibeop Team, a startup team from the SW-Centered University Program (members: Kyungseok Kim, Hyeongjin Kim, Hyundo Yoo, Junghoon Park, Jaein Shim, and Gaon Kim, advised by Prof. Sungbae Cho), developed the Wearable Device Clutch for amateur football players without coaches or supervisors and won the Grand Prize (Minister of SMEs and Startups Award) at the G-Star University Startup Competition.
According to Prof. Sungbae Cho, Chair of the Entrepreneurship Education Committee at the SW-Centered University Program, Handong Global University currently provides comprehensive, full-cycle education and support for students aspiring to become entrepreneurs through programs such as Design Sprint Camp, Startup Capstone Project, Software Factory Startup S-Lab, IT Entrepreneurship Society Venturers, Startup Free Semester, and Startup Competitions. Since being selected as an SW-Centered University, Handong Global University startup teams have accumulated approximately 1.6 billion KRW in prize money and funding, achieving outstanding results.
