CGV Lab (Computer Graphics & Vision Lab)

CGV Lab focuses on various applications of computer graphics and vision, including image processing, augmented reality, VSLAM, 3D reconstruction & compression, and autonomous vehicles.
We have conducted a wide range of projects, such as AR with cubes, drone control using indoor maps, projector-based touch games, image-based stress measurement, automatic generation of vehicle undercarriage images (in collaboration with VAIDAS), and marker-based multi-user AR games.

Deep Learning Lab

DLLAB applies deep learning to solve various challenges in natural language processing, industrial data prediction, computer vision, and speech synthesis. We actively collaborate with industry partners such as POSCO, NCSoft, Scatter Lab, and DeepBio through industrial-academic research projects.
Students in S-Lab can choose beginner, intermediate, or advanced deep learning study groups based on their proficiency and work together to enhance their expertise.

HAIL

HAIL is a research group dedicated to developing machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies and applying them across various domains. We approach data from a computer science perspective to solve complex problems. We recognize that the principles of God’s creation operate within computers—human-created artifacts—and seek to leverage these principles to benefit humanity.

Our research focuses on structured prediction, outlier detection, time-series modeling, and natural language understanding, applying these technologies to diverse domains, including healthcare, energy, literature, finance, and imaging.

MI-Lab

Professor Heeyoul Choi

MI Lab is led by Professor Heeyoul Choi and consists of one research fellow, four graduate students, and eleven undergraduate students.

Graduate students collaborate on various research topics related to deep learning and reinforcement learning and participate in multiple projects led by the professor.

Undergraduate students are involved in deep learning-related capstone and engineering project planning or join the S-Lab with an interest in deep learning and machine learning.

MMIC Lab

MMIC Lab(Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit Laboratory) conducts research on high-speed, low-power circuits for wired and wireless communication. We design and fabricate circuits across various domains, including analog, digital, and RF, and possess specialized equipment for testing fabricated chips.

Under the supervision of Professor Youngsik Kim, the lab consists of four graduate students and eight undergraduate students, and is located in NTH 317.

Smart Car Lab

Guided by Professors Kang Yi , Sungsoo Hwang , and Youngsik Kim, this lab specializes in autonomous driving research using 1/10-scale electric vehicles.

Our goal is to enable smooth autonomous driving by processing image data in the ROS environment, recognizing lanes, vehicles, and pedestrians through image processing and machine learning, and optimizing speed and steering control. We also aim to incorporate LiDAR-based control and enhance performance for success in autonomous driving competitions.
