2025년 2학기, 용환기 교수님의 정년퇴임을 기념하는 행사가 Last Office Hour라는 이름으로 교내와 동문 중심의 서울 행사로 나뉘어 진행되었다.
1996년 가을학기부터 30여 년간 학교를 섬겨온 교수님의 노고를 기억하며, 교내에서는 약 20여 명의 교수님들이 함께 모여 티타임을 가지며 감사와 추억을 나누는 시간을 가졌다.
또한 서울에서는 한동대학교 공유 오피스 더텐트(The Tent)에서 약 40여 명의 동문들이 참석한 가운데, 교수님과 함께한 시간들을 돌아보며 따뜻한 추억과 이야기를 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이 마련되었다.

In the second semester of 2025, a retirement celebration for Professor Whanki Yong was held under the title “Last Office Hour.” The events took place both on campus and in Seoul with alumni.
Professor Yong has faithfully served the university since the fall semester of 1996 for more than three decades. In appreciation of his dedication, around twenty faculty members gathered on campus for a tea time, sharing gratitude and memories together.
In Seoul, about forty alumni gathered at The Tent, Handong Global University’s shared office space, where they spent a meaningful time reflecting on their memories with Professor Yong and sharing warm stories from their time at the university.
