2025년 11월 11일(화), 한동대학교 전산전자공학부는 "AI가 코딩을 더 잘하면, 나는 뭐하지?"라는 주제로 전공토크콘서트를 개최하였다. 이번 행사는 급변하는 AI 시대 속에서 학부생들이 전공의 의미와 진로 방향을 함께 고민하고, AI 기술과 인간 전문가의 역할에 대해 통찰을 나누는 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련되었다.
행사는 CSEE 교수진의 짧은 발제와 패널 토의를 중심으로 진행되었으며, ▲AI와 컴퓨터공학의 관계 ▲실리콘밸리 개발자 대량해고 ▲AI 시대의 전문가 되기 등의 주제가 다뤄졌다. 특히 질의응답 시간에는 학생들이 적극적으로 참여하여 AI의 발전이 전공 공부와 진로에 미치는 영향, AI를 활용하는 개발자에게 요구되는 이해 수준 등과 같은 질문과 답변을 나누고 AI와 전공, 그리고 미래 역량에 대한 다양한 시각을 공유하였다.
On Tuesday, November 11, the School of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (CSEE) at Handong University held a talk show under the theme “If AI codes better than I do, what should I do?” The event was organized to provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to reflect together on the meaning of their major and their career direction in the rapidly changing era of AI, and to share insights about the roles of AI technology and human experts.
The event centered on short presentations by CSEE faculty members and a panel discussion, covering topics such as ▲the relationship between AI and computer engineering, ▲mass layoffs of developers in Silicon Valley, and ▲becoming a professional in the age of AI. In particular, during the Q&A session (for example, questions about how the advancement of AI affects major studies and career paths, and what level of understanding is required for developers who utilize AI), students actively participated and shared diverse perspectives on AI, their major, and future competencies.
